What is the Coin Trading Club?

I have been collecting foreign coins since I was a child. This hobby has now continued for over 30 years! During that time, I have also collected numerous coins of the same type - in other words, doubles. I have been thinking of a way to enable me to trade such double coins with other coin collectors, and this led me to establish this homepage.

How does it work?

In this homepage I have listed all the double coins that I have available, and seek to trade these with coins that I do not possess but that other collectors have in double. I do not look so much at the face value (the currency value of the coin) nor at the catalog value so much, but prefer to trade one coin for one coin, however final agreement will be between the two parties. However, I have listed those that that are silver or that are special in other ways, and would like to trade these for similar coins (i.e. silver or special in other ways)

The first step is to look at the country index in which I have listed all the double coins. Once you find a coin you want to trade, note the country name and coin number (or description). Next, please e-mail me a list, description or picture of the coin you have double and wish to trade. If we both agree which coin to trade for what, then we send the coins via regular mail (this is the lowest cost option in my opinion).

Now, we both have great new additions to each of our collections!
